Read the source and verification time together
IndustryQuery is a DEM/DET lookup service, not an official carrier website. Check the source, conditions, delivery mode and time of each result together.
Official sources first
We prioritize official carrier tariff pages and documents. Public links distinguish human-readable tariff pages, documents, official services and homepages. Unverified links may be omitted.
An official homepage link alone does not verify a particular tariff or every lookup condition.
Four result delivery modes

| LIVE · Successful realtime lookup | Official sources are retrieved at request time and pass supported-condition and parsing checks. Individual contracts and actual billed amounts are not guaranteed. |
| CACHE · Previously verified data | Previously verified results are reused. The official source was not checked anew for this request. |
| SNAPSHOT · Last verified data | A valid last verified result is displayed when realtime lookup is unavailable. Do not treat it as the current tariff. |
| ASSISTED · Manual verification required | Automatically verified tariffs cannot be provided. Check the official page or contact the carrier. |
Temporary source failures or lookup limits may result in previously verified data or manual verification. A carrier guide stating realtime support does not mean the current request succeeded as LIVE.
Understanding dates
- Effective date
- The tariff start date stated in the official source. A document update date is not substituted for the effective date.
- Last official verification
- The time the official source was last verified for the lookup result. It differs from the time data is displayed again or the site is deployed.
Static carrier guides are not assigned tariff verification or effective dates. Only dates officially provided in lookup results are used.
Source changes and verification failures
Some official PDF lookups check the SHA-256 fingerprint, size and official host. If the fingerprint differs from the verified document, tariffs linked to that document are not presented as tariffs from the new source. Not every source uses PDF fingerprint verification.
No estimated tariffs are generated when condition or source-structure checks fail. Valid previously verified data is shown with its status; otherwise, manual verification is recommended. These checks are not a carrier guarantee or a promise that tariffs will remain unchanged.
Missing information and manual verification
Missing Free Time, tariffs, currencies, effective dates and verification times are not estimated. A null in static JSON means the value is absent from this guide data; it does not mean zero or establish that the official source provides no value. Empty lists mean no items are registered.
Check with the official carrier when login, contract-specific tariffs or an inquiry is required, conditions fall outside verified web coverage, or the source cannot be verified. Actual applicability depends on the transport contract, port, container, cargo and dates.
Using and citing public data
Carrier guides contain registered support information, not tariff datasets. Cite the carrier guide URL and access date for support information. For tariffs, check the official source, conditions and verification time in the lookup result.
